Resistance training is the primary focus for this class, but it does include periods of moderate to high cardiorespiratory training. This class improves neuromotor skills such as balance, agility and power, while also providing a moderate level of cardiorespiratory training.

Description: Inspired by ballet, there will be a combination of stretching and strength training to create a long and lean body. By incorporating the training aspects of Pilates, Yoga and dance, you will leave energized and feeling graceful. Description: Pedaling for Parkinson’s™ Program Details: Participants will ride on a stationary bike, three times a week. Each one-hour exercise session consists of a 10-minute warm-up, up to a 40-minute main exercise set, and a 10-minute cool-down. Rest breaks will be taken as needed. Participants will ride within their pre-determined heart rate zones and will be closely monitored by program facilitators. To participate, you must be pre-approved. More than a way to reduce Parkinson’s Disease symptoms, the class provides a community of encouragement and support. Led by instructors trained to work with people with Parkinson’s Disease, the class is beneficial for people of all fitness levels and no experience is necessary. Classes are open to caregivers. Description: Excellent for strength training and increasing endurance without the impact of land. This is a medium-impact class that targets range of motion, core stabilization, balance and flexibility. Class uses both shallow and deep end of the pool, however ability to swim is not necessary. Each pool fitness class time is unique, so please try them all to see which one fits your schedule and ability. Members only, reservations are required and may be made up to 48 hours in advance. A wellness check and signed waiver will be completed when entering the facility. Please come in your swim suit. Locker room, showers and drinking fountains will not be available. Masks are required while in the building and on the pool deck.
